Salon Rules & Policy Booking Policy Reservation requests are accepted through our online booking system ONLY. In order to secure future reservations, Clients must provide a $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit via credit/debit card. This deposit is applied to your service. Absolutely no reservations will be accepted without deposit. When booked correctly, you should expect to receive 2 emails: One email will be from us (setmore) confirming your requested appointment details. The other email will be directly from Paypal confirming the deposit. If you do not receive 2 emails confirming BOTH scheduling as well as deposit, your appointment booking is incomplete & therefore invalid. The salon is not responsible for client booking error, nor are we obligated to honor any appointments booked incorrectly. If you feel that you have made any error while booking, it is important that you notify the salon immediately. Cash deposits are accepted during normal business hours and must be paid at least 24hrs in advance. Appointments made with cash deposits must be made in person when the cash deposit is accepted. NO SAME DAY APPOINMENTS FOR CASH DEPOSITS. Payment and Return Policy Minnie Corrine Boutique Salon (dba MCstylz) accepts payment in the form of all major credit/debit cards & cash. NO CHECKS are accepted. Please be aware that there is a 6.75% service fee to use a card for payment in the salon. This fee will be assessed to the client and is based on the full amount of the booked service(s). For this reason, it is strongly recommended to bring exact cash to pay for any remaining balance and gratuity. All retail items & hair extensions are final sale. Due to the artistic nature of our services, we cannot provide refunds on hair or makeup services. However if a Client is not satisfied with the results, we will be happy to provide adjustments (same day only). Client must inspect services for satisfaction before leaving the salon. Once you leave without expressing dissatisfaction, the salon will not be liable for any adjustments thereafter. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Minnie Corrine Boutique Salon (dba MCstylz) requests a 24-hour cancellation notice, as a courtesy. Deposits are not refundable for client cancellations or cancellations due to client booking errors. Deposits are not transferrable for reschedules unless approved by management. The option to transfer a deposit to a rescheduled appointment will only be considered IF the cancellation notice is given at least 24 hours in advance. The client must reschedule to have services rendered within 7 calendar days of the original appointment or the deposit is forfeited. If a client cancels a reservation less than 24 hours in advance, the deposit is forfeited and will not be transferred under any circumstance. Please note that cancellations can only be made through our online booking system or by phone. We do not accept cancellations by email, voicemail, or private messages via any of our social media platforms. In the rare event that the salon is not able to honor your scheduled appointment for any reason, we will reach out to you as soon as possible to make you aware of the change. This correspondence will come via email. We will offer options within reason such as rescheduling, &/or full refund of deposit. We realize that even the slightest change can be a great inconvenience so we appreciate your flexibility while considering all resolutions for such unforeseen event. However, under no circumstance will a discount of services ever be a resolution. If you are not able to reach an agreement with your stylist for rescheduling options within a timely manner, a refund will be issued immediately. This is to protect THE CLIENT. We do not want to hold your money in limbo, especially if the salon is at fault for the change. Releasing your funds as quickly as possible gives you the freedom to rebook your new appointment independently, in your own time. This also allows you to explore outside options, if we are not able to accommodate you. Late & No Show Policy Every client has a 15 minute grace period, and anything after 15 minutes, a $10 late fee will be applied. However after 30 minutes, the appointment will be marked as a no-show and the deposit forfeited. Client is welcome to reschedule for a later date and time with a new deposit. Although we greatly appreciate a courtesy call if you are running late, it is not required, & this does not change the policy. Late is still LATE, no matter if you call or not, the policy will still apply. Clients who no show on more than one occasion will be required to pay for future appointments in full before any services can be booked. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we must follow this policy out of respect for our Stylists and other Clients. Salon Safety No guests or children allowed in the salon unless they are being serviced. Seating is limited and reserved for clients ONLY. Many drawers and trays contain sharp objects, chemicals, and hot tools that can cause harm to your children. This is a liability issue. We will not start your service until your child, &/or plus1 has left. If you are not able to make arrangements, the appointment will be cancelled after 30mins and the deposit will not be refunded. No animals allowed. Service pets are an exception, however please inform us of this in advance so that we are able to arrange a private setting for you away from other salon guests who may have allergies or other pet related ailments. Please inform us of any allergies and medical conditions or concerns prior to your service and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. First time Clients are advised to disclose their hair history for the past three (3) to five (5) years including but not limited to: any non-professional colors that have been used (henna, box dye, etc.), chemical damage (excessive bleaching, perms, relaxers, etc.), and mechanical damage (eg: excessive heat styling, breakage, etc.). These factors may affect or prevent our ability to perform certain services, or require additional services to compensate. We will do our best to accommodate for any existing damage and prevent excessive additional damage. However, we are not liable for damage or unexpected results that come from the Client withholding relevant hair history as stated above. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your service provider immediately. Although rare, we reserve the right for our Stylists to decline a service or recommend a Client to another Stylist should they feel that they are unable to perform a service. Service Changes Appointments changed with less than a 24 hour notice will result in a charge of 100% of the service(s) that was initially booked. Example: If on the same day or day before you decide that you’d like to have a shampoo service instead of a Weave Extension service that you initially booked. Appointments are timed services. If a 4hr service is booked, that is last minute changed to a 1hr service, that is 3hrs of earnings lost that the stylist is not able to makeup for. This policy is to protect our artists. Payment in full will be due upfront. If you disagree with these terms, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and the deposit will not be refunded or transferred. Preferred Stylist Requests Due to the nature of our business structure where stylist schedules and availability can sometimes be outside of our control, we cannot guarantee that your appointment will be with the requested stylist. Please be assured that we have full confidence in all of our stylist’s abilities. Each stylist at MCstylz is extensively trained in blowouts and finish hairstyling and personally selected to work for MCstylz based on very high standards we set not only in hairstyling abilities, but also in personality, and customer service skills. In the event that your preferred stylist is not available, and you do not wish to reschedule or be serviced by another stylist, a full refund of your deposit will be issued immediately. eGift Certificate Policy Purchaser will receive an eGift Certificate number. To redeem eGift Certificate, please place this number in the notes section of each booked appointment. No additional information is needed. Appointments are booked at mcstylz.setmore.com. A physical gift certificate does NOT have to be presented for redemption. A record of the balance will be stored online under client profile. eGift Certificate Disclaimer eGift Certificates are only redeemable through appointments booked online, & cannot be applied to walk-in services. eGift Certificates are SERVICE BASED. Services can be upgraded, however remaining balance for add-ons will be due in cash at the time of redemption. Unused service value remains on client account and cannot be redeemed for cash. Must add eGift certificate number to the notes of each booked appointment to redeem. Non-refundable and non-transferable. Expires within 12 months from date of purchase. • Gift certificates are only redeemable at Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio. Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio reserves the right to convert service-based gift certificates to their monetary value, equivalent to what was paid for the gift certificate. • Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. • Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio reserves the right to immediately invalidate gift certificates, without notice, should it receive a credit card chargeback, returned check or other form of repudiated payment made towards the gift certificate. • Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio reserves the right to dishonor the gift certificate, if it reasonably believes it was not validly purchased, has already been redeemed, or the redeemer stole or is otherwise not the intended beneficiary of the purchaser. • Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio reserves the right to dishonor the gift certificate without refund, if the redeemer or purchaser is not in compliance with salon policy & rules. • Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio reserves the right to contact gift certificate purchasers, or known recipients, to remind them of upcoming expiration dates. • Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions. • Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio is not responsible for emailed gift certificates that do not reach their intended recipient for reasons beyond its control. Bounced email is not monitored. Receipt of email cannot be verified. • Gift certificates, and these Terms and Conditions, are subject to and governed by the laws of North Carolina, without reference to its principles of conflicts of law. Confirmation Policy We are happy to provide reminder confirmations via email as a courtesy to all of our Clients. However, it is the responsibility of the Client to keep track of future reservations. If you are unsure of when your next reservation is please email, call, or view your upcoming appointments in our Online Booking system. Please note that it is the sole responsibility of the Client to remain informed and aware of our salon policies prior to receiving services. Policies are subject to change. The most recent version of our policies will be posted at mcstylz.setmore.com Styling Policy We strive to give every client a beautiful and lasting style and want every client leaving our salon to feel and look their best. Our extensively trained stylists set our styles to last as long as possible using the best tools, products, and techniques in the industry. MCstylz does not and cannot guarantee the longevity of any style. There are too many variables outside of our control that will cause a style to fall, such as: hair types, hair cuts, lengths and weight, the weather variables of wind, heat or moisture, how often the hair is touched, etc. Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct, tardiness, no shows, posing health risk, and any other situation we deem inappropriate. Miscellaneous Situations can arise that need to be addressed that do not fall under these policies. Those decisions are made by the General Manager, Front Desk Manager, Salon Assistant, and company owner. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason but especially if you cannot follow these salon policies. Our goal is to make our customers happy and healthy, and these policies and decisions in place, and exist for that purpose. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. By booking an appointment, you are giving Minnie Corrine Boutique Style Studio (dba Minnie Corrine; Minnie Corrine Fashion Boutique; MCstylz) consent to record or photograph you. Please note that this is a service waiver & clients booking an appointment are giving consent & agreeing to all salon policy, rules, terms and the conditions of this waiver. This waiver will be added to your personal salon file, and can be viewed online. By entering this facility I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE Minnie Corrine (at 406 State Street. Greensboro NC 27405) and Cierra Pearson from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me or my children including my traveling to and from this facility.
